7. Complaints Handling Procedure

AJM Surveyors are regulated by RICS and in accordance with rule 7, operate a CHP, Complaints Handling Procedure, details as follows:

We have appointed Anthony Martin (tony@ajmsurveyors.com, Four Winds House, Macclesfield Road, Rainow, CHESHIRE SK10 5UU) to deal with complaints. If you have a question or if you would like to make a complaint, please don’t hesitate to contact him.
If you have initially made your complaint verbally – whether face-to-face or on the phone – please also make it in writing (as above).
Once we have received your written complaint, Anthony Martin will contact you in writing within 14 days. At this stage we will give you our understanding of your case. We will also invite you to make any further comments that you may have in relation to this.
Within 21 days of receipt of your written summary, Anthony Martin will write to you, inform you of the outcome of his internal investigation into your complaint and let you know what actions have or will be taken.
If the firm cannot resolve the complaint you have redress to an independent third party body who has our authority to award redress, there are two separate bodies for consumer and business customers, both are available at no cost to the complainant;
